Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry is a 2001 album by Southern rapper Petey Pablo. The album reached a peak of #13 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum.
The lead single, "Raise Up", made it to #27 on the Hot 100. The song is pretty simple: the rapper represents his native North Carolina, tells his people to "take ya shirt off and swish it ova ya head like a helicopter". There is a remix called "Raise Up [All Cities remix]" which is similar to the original, starting off with North Carolina, except that he shouts out other cities such as New Orleans, Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, etc.
