User:1qx/My Wikipedia views

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an essay; it contains the advice and/or opinions of one or more Wikipedia contributors. It is not a policy or guideline, and editors are not obliged to follow it.

I began editing Wikipedia in 2006, and saw it as "The site anyone can edit", and created the now-deleted article Help-pigs (not understanding what Wikipedia's purpose was back then). I got warned for vandalism, and got blocked for 48 hours... and then didn't come back very often.

I did make a few edits under various IPs, so if anyone asks "why are you familiar with policy?" etc., or "he must be someone's sockpuppet", then I have a reasonable explanation.

I then disappeared for a bit, but am now back as of May 2008. People disappear and edit infrequently, or contribute to other sites.

My particular areas of article editing are varied.

Note, you may see a user using the name of my friend's website on various Wikimedia projects. The user is not affiliated with the website and is one of a series of vandal accounts.

Also, b:User:1qx and v:User:1qx are not my accounts. I edit here, and you also find me at the Test Wiki (not a Wikimedia project) where I have sysop and bureaucrat status. If you need sysop status there, just ask and I will give it to you.
