This says 120 years = estimated maximum human lifespan, but Jeanne Calment died at age 122. This does not make sense! Does anyone know what to do with this?? Georgia guy 23:43, 15 Jan 2005 (UTC)

One could increase the 'estimate' to 125 years, or cite the lifespan of Jeanne Calment, which would be more precise.

I have removed the reference to the establishment of the Dominion of New Zealand. Independence of a significant country might be significant, but independence usually involves some abrupt event. New Zealand received its independence in stages, so there is no discrete event. --Paul from Michigan 05:52, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
