The 1992 Australian motorcycle Grand Prix was the second round of the 1992 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 10th-12th April, 1992 at the Eastern Creek circuit.

John Kocinski is injured in practice and misses the race.

Mick Doohan on pole, and gets away with Wayne Rainey and they start swapping places, with Daryl Beattie in 3rd. Kevin Schwantz and Doug Chandler battle for 4th.
