From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The 1991 Benson and Hedges Masters took place between February 3 and February 10, 1991 at the Wembley Conference Centre. The final turned out to be one of the greatest finals in snooker. Stephen Hendry beat Mike Hallett 9-8 after having trailed 7-0 and 8-2. This defeat effectively ended Hallett's days as a major force in the game. The championship also saw Alan McManus making his debut when he beat Alain Robidoux 5-3 in the Wild Card round before losing to Hallet in the last 16.
