[edit] October 2007

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to University of Scranton. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Tomdobb 21:37, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (198.3.128.3) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! [edit] January 2008

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Westfield Wheaton. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User talk:SchuminWeb. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SchuminWeb (Talk) 15:13, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:198.3.128.3, you will be blocked for vandalism. Please do not remove warning templates from your talk page. Mifter (talk) 16:44, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi there, first off, removing vandalism warning templates from your talk page is not allowed per Wikipedia policy, second saying an editor is “Sad” is also against the Wikipedia policy of no personal attacks. The only reason that I ever came into contact with you was because I was patrolling recent changes and reverting vandalism and when I saw an edit that you made I accidently click onto your talk page, when I saw that your page was blank it was a “red flag” to me so I checked the history and saw that you had blanked the page, then I restored the comments and warned you not do so again. Then you proceeded to come and leave a message on my talk page for which I perceived as a personal attack so thus I warned you again. Now here we are again, with you leaving another message on my talk page which could be perceived as another personal attack, but frankly I don’t want to report you to an administrator for a block, I think that you’re a good contributor and if your willing to just forget about all of this and get back to contributing to Wikipedia, I’ll be willing to do the same, because I do agree with you that all this is quiet counter-productive. Thanks, --Mifter (talk) 20:10, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in User Talk: Mifter, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. I just had to give you this for forgetting to sign your comments to me on my talk page :P Mifter (talk) 20:12, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Popeyes

If the Copeland statement you reference can be sourced, fine, then it can and should be added to the article. However, the Popeye franchise logo is the same as the typography of the cartoon.--Mantanmoreland (talk) 20:55, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Since I'm sure the goal here is to edit cooperatively, I suggest researching first. Please see the note at the Popeye Doyle talk page. Noroton (talk) 14:38, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window.
