[Richard Simmons External Link Edit]

Thanks for removing my external link to my Richard Simmons page. Not. I've read the guidelines on spam and would like to respectively disagree with your misinterpretation that my link was spam.

Olmsted County, Minnesota

Hi, I noticed that you tried changing the name of Olmsted County to Olmstead County. It took me many years myself to figure out that there is no 'a' in the name. It's named for David Olmsted, who was an early mayor of Saint Paul. —Mulad (talk) 14:17, May 28, 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Please do not add commercial links — or links to your own private websites — to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- GraemeL (talk) 18:36, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, you will be blocked from editing. -- GraemeL (talk) 18:41, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- GraemeL (talk) 18:45, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

I wasn't advertising: I was posting about neat sites and information. I will stop: you are being obviously Elitist. I thought this was an open encyclopedia for people to contribute useful information. I guess you misrepresent yourselves. It looks like only government & non-profit site posts are allowed. You are not interested in the real world and real resources? Then you are not an encylopedia. You are just babble.

This IP reverses to sp-internet-ext-ply.uhc.com (UnitedHealth Group). The site you were posting was at the domain myrenewell.com which is owned by ACN Group, which is in turn owned by UnitedHealth Group. Blatant spamming of your own commercial sites rather than providing resources. Who is misrepresenting themselves? --GraemeL (talk) 18:58, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

Note from another user at this IP (see above): Accenture has a very large presense at UnitedHealth Group and it could be an actual Accenture employee or someone else that deals with accenture. (Have not looked at the article or vandalism yet)

Your edit to 3 Strikes (pricing game)

Why did you change the rule description for this game? It hasn't been played that way in almost nine years. -TPIRFanSteve 03:53, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

DCA Corps versus Drum and Bugle Corps

You keep placing Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps in the Category:Drum and bugle corps, but I believe it belongs instead in Category:DCA corps, along with the rest of the corps in its division. You might want to see the guidelines at Wikipedia:Categorization to see why. The DCA category puts it with its sister articles, and the only drum corps in Category:Drum and bugle corps are noncompetitive organizations. If you'd like to explain your reasoning, please reply here or on my talk page. Thank you. Mr Bound 17:17, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to Arbit Choudhury

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Arbit Choudhury, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. --St.daniel 22:18, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Gilbert Arenas

Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Gilbert Arenas are very much appreciated. However, you did not provide references or sources for your information. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. If sources are left unreferenced, it may count as original research, which is not allowed. Can you provide in the article specific references to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content in the article? You can use a citation method listed at How to cite sources. Thanks! --AW 16:02, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to American Civil Liberties Union. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. —DerHexer (Talk) 19:20, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Unblock request

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Two weeks is unduly harsh for one blanked page by a shared IP."

Decline reason: "Not considering the IP address is routinely used for vandalism. Please either provide reason to believe that this address will no longer be used for vandalism, or consider registering an account once the block expires so you are not lumped in with the vandals operating from this address. — Yamla 17:26, 12 October 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

One abusive admin backs up another. No wonder wikipedia is going downhill fast. 198.203.175.175 17:33, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
