Attention:

This IP address, 198.135.224.110, is registered to Senate of California, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] October 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Barack Obama, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Gscshoyru 20:23, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Talk:Barack Obama. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as the text has been restored from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. DéRahier 20:24, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This edit Removed a legitimate entry from List of people from Los Angeles. Not only does that qualify as vandalism under site policy, the growing list of warnings at this talk page and the edit history for this address constitutes a significant public relations risk for the organization that owns this IP address. I strongly recommend greater foresight and oversight. See this essay. DurovaCharge! 06:28, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Political scandals of the United States

I notice you add some details to this article. However, you also replace names with - to all other than to Americans - cryptical abbreviations. Could you please remember this article should be readable to non-Americans to? Greswik (talk) 18:28, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reverted Edits

I have reverted your edits, with concern to Political scandals of the United States, in that they looked like vandalism. If you would provide both Edit Summaries’ and Cites for your contributions it may prevent blanket rollbacks in the future. If you have any questions or need additional information about these reverts, please drop me a quick note at my talk page. Thanks - Shoessss |  Chat  23:03, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
