Attention:

This IP address, 198.103.184.76, is registered to Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 198.103.184.76). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Please note these points:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] HKWNB, HKCOTW, Current events

Hi. Thanks for your contributions to the Queen's College, Hong Kong article. You might be interested to take a look at HK wikipedians' notice board, HK Collaboration of the Week and Current events in Hong Kong and Macao. You may also consider getting an account and it brings many benefits. Happy editing! — Instantnood 15:43, Apr 30, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Please don't...

Change American English into British English. It goes against WP Policy. Please leave the articles as they are; if they're in American English, leave them be. If in British, likewise. I'm bringing this up because you needlessly changed the spelling of "color" in the Batman (TV series) article. The WP rule of maintaining the status quo applies especially in this case: an American TV program based on an American comic book series. I really don't understand why someone would edit the articles that way in the first place, but don't do it again.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

[edit] Your edit to Sturgeon Falls, Ontario

Unfortunately, I was forced to revert your addition of Nickolas Boucher to the list of notables in the article Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. A search on google for that name, and for various potential spelling variants of it, produced precisely zero germane hits. Please don't play with articles. As you already know from previous blocks on this address, disruptive behaviour, if continued, can result in your being blocked, temporarily or permanently, from further editing. — Dave (Talk | contribs) 18:30, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits to LAN Airlines

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 198.103.184.76! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. [edit] Your edits to January 29

Dear 198.103.184.76,
Some of your edits on the page January 29 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. PseudoBot (talk) 14:51, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to CHEZ-FM. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 22:57, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
