[edit] Jo Gartner & Gerhard Berger

Jo Gartner and Gerhard Berger finished 5th and 6th in this GP, but didn't recieve their 2 and 1 points (see also [1]). If they were disqualified, why weren't the positions and points given to Piercarlo Ghinzani and Huub Rothengatter? Fred Bradstadt 20:30, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

They weren't disqualified - they were driving their teams' "second entry" and because those teams had only entered one car for the entire championship, the second entry was ineligible to score points. (taken from article) Bobby Doorknobs 19:04, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
