Hello. Nice start. I think the title is wrong, though: first, it should be "1980s", not "1980's". Aside from that, though, the movies are all U.S. movies and I don't think it was your intention to talk about 1980s French movies. --KQ 19:04 Oct 25, 2002 (UTC)

Maybe this should be something like "List of 1980s movies". Headings could be added to separate movies based on production language/location. --Mrwojo 18:35 Oct 26, 2002 (UTC)

Oh thank God. Someone else who blows his top every time he sees things like 1980's, etc. Only last week I saw a sign that read TOILET'S. Then there was the Cheap phone's I saw advertised. Not to mention the hideous Buy your car's here. Aaagh. I hate it. JtdIrL 04:30 Mar 8, 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Shouldn't list be moved to a category?

I'm curious why a separate list is being maintained here instead of a category for 1980s films. As it stands right now, if you go the individual articles for any of these films, there's no reference back to this list like we'd have with a category. Just curious if that was ever discussed/considered/ruled out or what. (Also, I'm a huge stickler for the proper use of apostrophes in dates. :) It's 1980s, not 1980's unless you mean the films belonging to 1980. The only other proper use of the apostrophe is '80s because you're actually dropping letters. --Robb0995 18:59, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Untouchables

The Untouchables article says the film grossed "Total U.S. box office gross: $76,270,454". This article puts it at $36M. Drcwright (talk) 06:24, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
