1989 Kedah Madrasah fire inferno

The 1989 Kedah Madrasah fire inferno took place on 22 September 1989 when the girls' hostel of Madrasah At Taufiqiah Al-Khairiah in Guar Chempedak, Kedah, Malaysia was destroyed by fire. About 27 of the students were killed including school girls.
