The 1988 Tennents UK Championship took place at the Guildhall, Preston in November and TV stages shown on BBC TV took place between 19 and 27 November 1988.
This was the last UK Championship to be sponsored by Tennents, The following year and the year after that, The championship would be sponsored by StormSeal.
