1988 Tooheys 1000

The 1988 Tooheys 1000 was the 29th running of the Bathurst 1000 touring car race. It was held on October 2, 1988 at the Mount Panorama Circuit just outside Bathurst. The race was held for cars eligible for International Group A touring car regulations for three engine capacity classes.
Class A - over 2501cc
Class B - 1601-2500cc
Class C - under 1600cc
