The 1988 Tampa Bay Buccaneers season began with the team trying to improve on an 4-11 season. Vinny Testaverde threw an NFL record 35 interceptions during the season, however was capable of putting up big numbers, like passing for 469 yards in a late comeback attempt vs the Indianapolis Colts.
