1982 VFL Grand Final

The 1982 VFL Grand Final took place on September 25, 1982 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground between VFL clubs Carlton and Richmond. The previous three premierships had been won by either team, Richmond in 1980 and Carlton in 1979 and 1981. Carlton were victors by 18 points making this the first time since 1915 that the club had won back to back flags.
