[edit] Base Set
In 1982 O-Pee-Chee licenced version of the Topps set. It was basically identical to the Topps set, however it only had 396 cards instead of the 792 in the Topps set and had the Topps branding replaced with O-Pee-Chee branding. The cards were printed on lighter grey cardstock, featured bilingual backs, and some had added traded lines. The cards feature a facsimile autograph on the front and have green backs. Subsets included Highlights, League Leaders, All-Stars, Super Action, and Team Leader cards. Team leader and multiple player rookie cards for the Montreal Expos and Toronto Blue Jays were issued, but for no other teams. A large O-Pee-Chee logo replaced the smaller Topps logo. Size: 2-1/2 X 3-1/2 in.
[edit] Hockey
This set consisted of 396 cards. Notable rookie cards in this set were #105 Grant Fuhr, #123 Ron Francis, #164 Neal Broten, #307 Joe Mullen, and #380 Dale Hawerchuk.
