1982 Belgian Grand Prix

The 1982 Belgian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Zolder on May 9, 1982. It was the fifth round of the 1982 Formula One season.
Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve suffered a fatal accident during qualifying.

- This was the first ever race when drivers had to give up everything on Friday, as this was the first time that 2 drivers failed to pre-qualify, namely Paletti and Vilotta.
