Does anyone have source for the statement in this article that the Frogs accused Billy Corgan of plagiarism? I've never heard of this. Considering the close relationship of these two bands, I am inclined to believe that if this actually happened, it was a joke.

Go to The Frogs Archive, and in the audio section, the fourth mp3 available is a live version of "Pleasure" with the comments about the stealing. Listen to the mp3 - it is a bit similar, but not so much that I'd call "1979" a rip-off. Folkor 22:45, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Didn't the music video have to be reshot?

I remember hearing that someone left a copy of the video on the top of their vehicle accidently and drove away.Buzda 04:33, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Yup, that's what they say in the audio commentary of the video collection DVD. I also wondered why this isn't covered here.80.142.236.59 01:28, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
I was wondering the same thing, so I added a small paragraph about it. Hopefully the source isn't too bad. Cale 02:30, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Recently on a rerun of "Cold Case" the song "1979" was used to set the tone for the era in which the story began. I just thought you might like to know that. -- Mr.Jack Fardtz —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.155.110.74 (talk) 19:27, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
