Talk:1970s Topps
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I changed the notable cards section back to the three that were originally there because there were way too many cards added to the list. If you want to add any cards to the list make sure they are there because they are either very valuable or extremely scarce for one reason or another, hence the term notable. Do not list a card just because it is a rookie card or because it is your favorite player. It would be advisable to keep the list to possibly five cards or less. So be very selective. [edit] O-Pee-Chee
I am listing some OPC issues here for lack of a better place to put them. They are not parallel sets but some do resemble Topps design. Topps also issued similar inserts with their sets of the same years. They are as follows:
- 1970 O-Pee-Chee CFL 115 cards standard size similar to 1969 Topps NFL|
- 1970 O-Pee-Chee CFL Push-Out Inserts 16 cards standard size|
- 1971 O-Pee-Chee CFL 132 cards standard size|
- 1971 O-Pee-Chee CFL Poster Inserts 16 cards Size:5X7|
- 1972 O-Pee-Chee CFL 132 cards standard size|
- 1972 O-Pee-Chee CFL Trio Sticker Inserts 24 cards| Libro0 (talk) 08:02, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Individual Years?
Should there be articles for the individual years? --I Hate CAPTCHAS (talk) 16:48, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
The need for individual years presents itself in the 90's and beyond due to the large amount of products. It seems better to be concise for the earlier decades. Libro0 (talk) 07:43, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
