From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 196.25.255.250, is registered to South African Internet Exchange (TelkomInternet), and may be shared by multiple users. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Mesothelioma. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. --Mdwyer 06:38, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

That was an error on my part. The intended target of the vandalism warning was not 165.146.22.141, but the IP vandal 70.94.46.25, who had added the sentence "He began to study martial arts after his father sexualy molested him at a young age." Apologies. --Rrburke(talk) 12:17, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to User:Optigan13, you will be blocked from editing. Xiahou 01:53, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. WjBscribe 02:39, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. When the block expires you are free to continue editing if you intend to make useful contributions. However, if you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, this account will be subject to a longer block and action could be taken against the individual behind this IP address. [edit] IP Address

All internet traffic coming from South Africa comes through proxies owned by one of a few large ISPs.

This means that any IP address belonging to the "South African Internet Exchange" is shared by THOUSANDS of users.

So please stop with the BS. Allow people with this IP to register accounts etc, because it's starting to get annoying. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 41.243.87.32 (talk) 14:22, 2 April 2007 (UTC).

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles, such as those you made to Esophagus, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you.- Gilliam 16:08, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Malaria, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. TimVickers 15:13, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
