[edit] Civil Rights and challenge to Mississippi Delegation
There needs to be discussion of the challenge to the Mississippi delegation members, and the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party, and Fannie Lou Hamer and the quashing of the effort by Lyndon Johnson to prevent the unseating of the white-only Mississippi delegation, and the fact that this changed the 1968 convention rules significantly, as well as the rules for the 1972 convention. -- Yellowdesk 23:47, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
