1967 Surfers Paradise Four Hour

The 1967 Surfers Paradise Four Hour was an endurance race for production cars held at the Surfers Paradise circuit in Queensland, Australia on 9 April 1967.

Entries were divided into four classes, based on the retail price of the car:

  • Class A : Up to $1800
  • Class B : $1801 to $2000
  • Class C : $2001 to $2400
  • Class D : Over $2400

Official results were focused on class placings, however the Alfa Romeo driven by Kevin Bartlett and Doug Chivas took line honours, having completed the most laps of any of the twenty one cars which started the event. [1] [2]
