Please do not add commercial links — or links to your own private websites — to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. Note that Wikipedia may see print or DVD publication, so we want more content, not more web links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 10:39, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I'm very sorry, but I don't know what you mean. I did not make any contribution or changes to the english wiki (except adding the luxembourgish interwiki to some articles from time to time). Myriam

See this edit. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 10:59, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Also look at the contributions for this IP. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 11:01, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

I see, but honestly, this is not me who wrote this. My english is not good enough to make contributions or changes. Is it possible that somebody had the same IP address? Myriam

I believe you and I suggest that you get an account on the English Wikipeida to make sure you don't get falsely accused. Even if you are only making a few edits it would be worth it. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 11:10, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Jonathan Woodgate, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. «ct» (t|e) 12:26, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tim Westwood

I'm afraid I have reverted your edit to the Tim Westwood article. There has been a quite comprehensive discussion on the article's talk page about whether or not we should feature the date in the article, given that there is some uncertainty and we have had requests to remove it. Our decision was to remove it until we can better reference the date and explain the controversy surrounding it. As someone who is interested in the subject, I invite you to make your feelings heard on the talk page and contribute to the discussion. For the moment, though, we are treading carefully per the advice at WP:BLP. Regards Will (aka Wimt) 10:01, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add unhelpful and unconstructive content to Wikipedia, as you did to Ulster Volunteer Force. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Steven Weston 16:18, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits to Zaire

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 195.212.29.92! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bexample\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links guidelines for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! [edit] Regarding edits to List of cellists

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to List of cellists. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Thank you. CA387 15:27, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Llama Farmers

This was deleted as a copyright violation, because the article was a direct cut and paste from the band's MySpace page. If you want to repost the article in your own words, feel free. Thanks, NawlinWiki 16:04, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] December 2007

[edit] External links

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Homebrewing. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Stlemur (talk) 13:15, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
