Rhodes Scholarship
Thanks for your changes to the Rhodes Scholarship article and removal of some significant POV. --Grouse 20:44, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC).
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Gaz! may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. -- MacAddct1984 17:00, May 22, 2005 (UTC)

User page
Wiki is a not a site to show yourself off. This page should be destroyed.
That is one of the funniest things I have ever heard. "This page should be destroyed." Ah ha ha. I don't know why it's so funny. It just is. → JarlaxleArtemis 21:30, Jun 18, 2005 (UTC)

Population figures
Hi. Please do not change population figures piecemeal. These are all taken from the same source (the 2001 census and its definition of urban areas), and you can't just simply change one figure independently of the others. Morwen - Talk 12:17, 11. November 2005 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to German Goo Girls, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 09:21, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to blank pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Royboycrashfan 14:01, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
German Goo Girls
Your addition to the article was having an informal tone. Statements like ..(she) is particularly attractive, and really seems to enjoy herself disrupt the neutrality of the article (see WP:NPOV). If you wish you can add the same reference again, but please do leave edit summaries & adhere to WP:NPOV. Also for editing sensitive article like Pornography, consider signing up, as editing such articles as an IP address can attract vandalism warnings.
Thanks
Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 09:42, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Agreed re: comment "particularly attractive", disagree re: comment "enjoying herself" this must be viewed in the context of the preceding paragraph about Betty.

I suggest you revisit the definition of Wikipedia:Vandalism before you go throwing the term around willy nilly.
195.188.152.12 07:55, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm very familiar with the definition of Wikipedia:Vandalism, thank you .Looking at your talk page, it seems you too know the definition quite well as you are practising it. Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 08:29, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
This talk page is shared by anyone using blueyonder ISP. And from the look of your talk page User_talk:Srikeit there's many others who have problems with your reversions. 195.188.152.12 08:36, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Well when an anon does not leave an edit summary for the edits they make, it may appear like vandalism. The users can always discuss it on my talk page & can add the info again with an edit summary as I suggest in my warnings. And talking about good faith I highly doubt these [1], [2] edits wre made in good faith. Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 08:49, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
(P.S If you wish to really make good faith edits you may consider signing up)

==Please Use Edit Summaries==
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.
Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 09:08, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yes it is not compulsory to leave edit summaries. But as said above the abscence of edit summaries & the fact that you are editing as an IP address & the fact that you have a history of vandalism warnings, will make your edits look like vandalism. Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 09:12, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Please make it clear what of the above is your personal interpretation and what is Wikipedia policy. For example, "When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism " is your personal interpretation of the lack of an edit summary.
Also you do not seem to understand that the IP address is shared by many thousands of users and a history of warnings is quite irrelevant. 195.188.152.12 09:20, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
-
- This is not my personal interpretation. See m:Help:Edit summary (I had also provided this link above). The above text which I added was a Wikipedia template (add {{summary)) to the Sandbox & see). If you don't feel like clicking on the above link I'll quote the introduction for you.
Always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s)
Also if you want to make important contributions to Wikipedia, consider signing up. Signing up will give you a username which will not reveal your IP address, you will have a separate talk page for yourself & you will not recieve vandalism warnings for edits not made by you. Srikeit(talk ¦ ✉) 09:33, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
I did read the link and NOWHERE does it say that "When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism"195.188.152.12 09:37, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
