Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be anything but. For more information on this, see

If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so on Wikipedia:Sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome!

Your recent contribution(s) to the Wikipedia article Patrecia Scott did not provide specific references or sources. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a drive to improve the quality of Wikipedia by encouraging editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. Editors may choose to remove material you have contributed if it is not verifiable. Please provide specific references in your contributions to any books, articles, websites or other reliable sources that will allow people to verify the content. You can use a citation method listed at inline citations that best suits each article. --LeflymanTalk 17:55, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to Senior status

Your recent edit to Senior status (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "no longer a TOR address"

Decline reason: "Still running an http-proxy. — Yamla 18:18, 9 March 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

hmm

I'm using tor and cannot edit any pages...

I think this is a little unfair, since someone could want to edit anonymously for non malicious reasons.

Perhaps, but they are generally used maliciously. In any case, Wikipedia policy is to disallow open proxies and anonymising proxies.

This user's request to have the autoblock on his/her IP address lifted has been DECLINED.

original block message

  • Decline reason:

This IP has not been auto-blocked but is blocked directly because it's a Tor exit node. Wikipedia does not allow editing through open proxies (including Tor) — -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:57, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
