Description |
1959 Pattern Denison Parachute Smock (or 59 Patt en:Denison Smock), front and rear views. The 'diaper flap' is visible in the rear view, folded up, and scapped out of use. It can be lowered and fastened at the inside, front to prevent the smock riding up when parachuting. Visible are the wool cuffs, the flannel linining of the collar, and the almost complete absence of buttons (except for the two used to fasten the epaulettes). Snaps are used to secure pockets, tighten the hem, and fasten the 'diaper flap'.
