The New York Yankees' 1959 season was the 57th season for the Yankees in New York and their 59th overall. The team finished in third place in the American League, with a record of 79-75, 15 games behind the Chicago White Sox. New York was managed by Casey Stengel. The Yankees played at Yankee Stadium.
