Hi there... looks like you've been very busy with updating and adding information about UK roads - thanks, particularly your work on the road junctions. Have you thought about signing up for an account? It's better to do so than using IP address as it allows you to better take part in any discussion about pages/edits!

Just a couple of friendly tips.... basically, as you've probably noticed by now, when you've wiki links to internal pages, you sometimes see they have a pipe symbol | in the middle. The word on the first side of the pipe is the page being linked to, while the word on the second side of the pipe is the displayed word.

So for example London Borough of Redbridge|LB Redbridge would link to the London Borough of Redbridge page, while just displaying LB Redbridge.

For links such as Orsett, where the name is the same as the page being linked to, no pipe is needed, just put the squared brackets round the word.

If there is a space in the name, wiki links can contain spaces. These convert automatically to underscores or '%20' when the user clicks on the link, so it isn't needed to put, e.g. London_Borough_of_Redbridge...

Finally, road articles are generally linked as e.g. A13 road (as generally there are lots of things called A13 - missiles, roads in different countries etc. To allow A13 to display on the pages, the link is therefore A13 road|A13.

Hope all that makes sense - if you'd like any more help write on my talk page.. C2r 09:40, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
