[edit] March 16, 2006
Hi there,
Let me first of all apologise for the vandalism, and secondly explain who this IP is. In short: we're a company, with about a 1000 employees. The IP address you're seeing is from our outgoing proxy, and it's impossible for us here to determine who's doing the vandalism (assuming it's just one person).
You might want to consider giving this IP address read only access if the vandalism continues, or show an additional warning when someone from this IP is editing (not sure if that's possible with mediawiki and your setup though) since wikipedia is used frequently here, and a lot of people would be frustrated if we'd be 'cut off'. Not to mention the tech helpdesk going nuts by all the frustrated employees.
I hope this gives an idea of what's going on, personally I simply hope that the people here 'smarten up' but realistically I don't see it happening, mainly because 99% of the employees won't see this page.
Thanks & again my apologies for my colleagues,
Mike - 194.72.105.126 12:05, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Based on the pattern of edits made from your IP address, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that you, the person who wrote the above 'apology for your colleagues', are the same person who is vandalizing Wikipedia pages. Your modus operandi involves forwarding the same argument you made above (whereby you claim that any number of users could have made inappropriate edits from your IP address) whenever changes you have made to wiki articles are reversed by more responsible users. Please take your tripe elsewhere (uncyclopedia comes to mind) or find a new hobby. -Grammaticus Repairo 00:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
I think I should point out mike that it is possible for your IT staff to track down whos computer the vandalism is coming from. --•Lwarf• Talk! 10:13, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Unfortunately, while it may be technically possible to track the users who vandalise Wikipedia from this IP, the technology team of the Global Email Company, in Belfast (the IP belongs to them) are mentally incapable of accomplishing such a task. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.174.228.209 (talk) 03:11, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Exit Music (For a Film), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Argentino (talk/cont.) 17:11, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, welcome, and I hope that you will like Wikipedia. -- Sarrandúin [ Talk + Contribs ] 03:20, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

This IP address was recently used to vandalize the Wikipedia article Avril Lavigne. We was all disapointed she did not get her baps out in Maxim. I wasted four mutherfuckin dollars on the piece of shit just to see her looking all tastful, what a fucking waste man I don't buy that piece of shit no more. Yo man, just fuck Maxim, Minim more like. Anyway, If vandalism continues from this address it will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Peace man, I love you like a brother.
If this IP address is shared between multiple users, then your edits may be unrelated to this vandalism. To avoid being included in any future sanctions such as temporary blocks or bans, we invite you to create a user account of your own. Sander123 10:38, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. -- No Guru 16:19, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Neutral point of view? This is more like censorship of a Kim Jong Il inspired North Korea, this site used to be about the people, having fun, when did you last have fun? Has the power of moderation gone to your head? Think about the kids!! If we carry on like this we will be living in an era when artistic expression is something remembered by old people who start their sentences with........."I remember the time when you could say what you wanted where you wanted and no one would moderate your vocal content." Your a lot like the FCC in fact you might just be the FCC. SCREW YOU GUYS, I'M GOING HOME.

On list of controversila books it says
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain - a book famously banned in a large number of U.S. states and even branded by the NAACP for its racist overtones and use of provocative and insulting racist language.

- You cannot use this page to say whatever you feel like. You do not own any pages, not even an user page. So, even userspace comments have to be civil and should not contain any personal attack. --soum (0_o) 11:57, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- And your tone shows that you are not going to back off from vandalizing. So, I think no one is going to grant with your unblocking request. If you still want to have your block reviewed, place a {{unblock}} template on this page (see the template docs for how to use it).
I already said, incivility and personal attacks wont be tolerated. Despite warnings you are continuing to do so. I am protecting your userpage so that you cannot do so anymore. --soum (0_o) 13:42, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
