Attention:

This host, brows2.cgnu.net, is registered to CGNU (now Aviva), and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] this is a public ip address!!

i'm adding this near the start of this page, so people understand. the messages below are obviously aimed at one person, however, this is a workplace ip address. it's networked to over 33,000 in the UK alone.

i am a registered wikipedia user, but as i am at work, i don't sign in when editing wikipedia. as it's a nationwide (and worldwide) company (norwich union insurance) i don't want other people's edits to become mine.

there was a time when this IP was banned for vandalism by someone else, this is when i stopped signing in at work, as i don't want to be tarnished with the same brush as them.

it is good to know, however, that the company employs such idiots! i thought i only worked with 2 of them, but glad to know they are dispersed throughout the company!!

edit: see also User:194.221.133.226 this is the same company ip address. it was this one that was banned, as i mentioned above. not sure why the slight change in IP, i don't understand them much!! however they are definitely the same, as i can see a couple of my edits on that user history, also. 194.221.133.211 09:25, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] January 2007

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I see that you have contributed a number of edits to the page Yacveria -- I am just wondering, is this an actual country/state/empire in a fictional work or is it a test page? If it is a test page, please use the Sandbox for future testing. If it is an actual fictional country, would you please indicate what fictional work it may be found in. Thank you, Black Falcon 18:56, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Yacveria

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Yacveria, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Your edit to Jeff Hardy

The warning is there so that vandals have no excuse for doing things like posting rumors or doing week-by-week updates. Please do not remove it. TJ Spyke 08:50, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] March 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Some of your recent edits, such as those you made to Malcolm Christie, have been considered unhelpful or unconstructive and have been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Chris Bradshaw 13:08, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, please ignore this warning

[edit] Simon Pegg

Hi. Thanks for your contributions to Simon Pegg. I have removed them, because they do not appear to comply with Wikipedia's policies. Specifically, we require attribution for added information, especially if it is unusual. I was not able to verify the nickname "Simon Pegatetz" anywhere on the web, which makes it sound unlikely to me. If you can provide a reliable source verifying this information, it may be added to the article if a consensus of the article's editors believe that it merits inclusion.

However, it is possible that even if the "Pegagetz" story is verified, other editors may decide that it is too trivial to be included in the article. If this happens, please discuss the matter on the talk page and try to reach a consensus with the other editors.

Also, please do not engage in an edit war. Instead, discuss your changes on the article's talk page. Wikipedia has a rule against repeatedly reverting edits; if you revert the change again, you may be blocked. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 04:15, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

It's not worth giving yourself a coronary. It's not unheard of for people to make mistakes in articles. Your incredulous edit summaries are unwarranted. - Dudesleeper · Talk 09:28, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Dear user, regarding your recent edit to the STS-125 article, I have reverted your changes because they were inaccurate. Please refer to the official NASA manifest, the mission following STS-125 is STS-119. Mission numbers are not always sequential. Thanks, ArielGold 16:18, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
