School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 194.189.32.65, is registered to Southampton University Hospitals (NHS) Trust and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. If the institution uses proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another. Similarly an innocent user may be blocked for another user's vandalism. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please read our advice on this situation.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block with the template {{schoolblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of persistent vandalism from this IP address, anonymous editing may be disabled for up to 1 year at a time. Abuse reports may also be forwarded to your school administration for investigation.
School staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

With regard to your comments on User:MikeHobday: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. MikeHobday (talk) 09:05, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for trolling with no useful contributions lately, multiple blocks already. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Docg 10:11, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit] Unblock

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Considering the edits that have been made since the last block (minor trolling rather than blatant vandalism), a one month block is far too harsh. Consider this my appealing the sentence, rather than the conviction."

Decline reason: "Trolling is vandalism and it destroys the community. There have been no useful edits from this IP, only trolling/vandalism. 1 month seems an adequate amount of time. — Woody (talk) 11:09, 3 March 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Request reason: "1 month is far too harsh! I will have learnt my lesson after a week at most I would imagine. Trolling equates vandalism? You'd rather I was destroying your articles would you? How can you claim I was destroying the community, just by annoying a labour party candidate/animal rights sympathiser. Is that the sort of fellow you want contributing to an encyclopedia? If your answer is yes then this is a very screwed up place indeed! Anyway, please reduce the duration of the block. Regards, Will Guthrie"

Decline reason: "Actually, I'd rather you do neither. But, repairing articles, is easier than getting back users driven off by trolls. Either way, the block looks entirely appropriate to me. — SQLQuery me! 11:49, 3 March 2008 (UTC)"

Fair enough, but on an unrelated note, why would you want a vegan (Michig (talk · contribs)) editing here? Surely you can't object if I choose to harass them? 194.189.32.65 (talk) 12:16, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
And, with that, I've protected this page. Have a nice month. SQLQuery me! 12:20, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
