[edit] List of best-selling music artists

Hi, could you please explain why you insist on removing the A-ha entry from the page. It's sourced, and the sources clearly state that their album+singles sales exceed 50 million. Your edit will just keep getting reverted when you do it with no explanation. Thanks. - Bobet 20:40, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi - Sure, none of the sources prove that they are anywhere near the 50+ plus bracket. Perhaps if you created a new section? '25 million+'? This is difficult news for fans of some bands .. but the list needs to be accurate.

Well the list doesn't distinguish between singles and album sales, from the first source: "a-ha has sold approximately 40 million albums and 25 million singles world wide", which would bring the total to 65 million. The second source has their most conservative estimates at 32 million + 28 million, which is again higher than the threshold. Unless there's some reason to dispute the sources themselves, I think the entry should stay on the list. - Bobet 21:23, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Depeche Mode

To the person who is vandalizing the Depeche Mode page: please STOP vandalizing. if you can't provide a source that Dave has been saying Martin should apologize to Alan, then don't put it up there. If you are offended by the language used in the talk page, then ask if the person will change the word, as opposed to erasing the comment, without permission.
