[edit] Your addition to soda lime
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in soda lime. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:22, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cerne Abbas giant
The reason it got changed is because the wording should be neutral. It shouldn't say that the rain/flooding was/was not caused by the pagans. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 19:29, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- I just re-read all three sources that were used and made edits based on them. First off none of them indicate that any rain magic was performed, just that the local group said they would. So in light of that I removed the section on the UK floods and the "causative relationship" link. Second, the sentence starting "Further, widespread flooding occured within a week of the pledge, prompting the Pagan Federation to distance itself from tabloid claims..." is not supported by any sources. The Pagan Federation statement just says that they were not planning a rain dance. Last, the Pagan Federation statement says that it does not support "...the use of scheduled ancient monuments and SSSIs..." but not that the giant is an SSSI and a search through English Nature using giant, Cerne Abbas and Dorset shows nothing to indicate it's a SSSI so I removed that as well. - Just added more info that I found at the National Trust. Turns out he's a Scheduled Monument. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 17:04, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
