From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 193.219.28.144, is registered to Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling of Warsaw University and may be shared by multiple users. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason a message intended for one person may be received by another. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. (In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism in which case we invite you to try again at a later time or from a different computer.)

In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling of Warsaw University to report network abuse.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block.

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "this is the web proxy for the Warsaw University (at least for the Ochota Campus), as such lots of different people use it"

Decline reason: "Please login to edit if you are a legitimate user, thank you. --WinHunter (talk) 14:48, 29 November 2006 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Indeed, you left a comment at my talk page. However, in the future do not copy and paste articles made by the others. If you register, you'll be able to move the articles to a new name without stealing the work of the others (after the article is moved, the original contribution is still attributed to its author and not to the one who copy-pasted it). Also, if you move the article instead of blanki9ng it, the reader is automatically redirected to a new name, without having to look for it. Halibutt 18:06, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Carbonite | Talk 20:38, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to History of the Jews in the Land of Israel, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. DVD+ R/W 08:49, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

This user's request to have the autoblock on his/her IP address lifted has been DECLINED.

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Jude Raus". The reason given for Jude Raus's block is: "Vandalism, personal attacks".

  • Blocking admin: not provided.

  • Decline reason:

Clearly you are User:Jude Raus. It would be slow and boring to get a CheckUser (and you would remained blocked whilst it was done) so we can give it up now, don't you think? -- ЯEDVERS 21:54, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

No, I am not User:Jude Raus. Why do you think I am? This IP is a proxy, potentially it can be used by a large group of people. (No, I am not going to register at the moment. Block me and I will not contribute anymore. It is that simple.) 193.219.28.144 22:01, 21 November 2006 (UTC) Here is me again (the same user as above). My contribution (from this IP) is this one. Article Mozilla Firefox needs a lot of work, because at the moment this article is very biased and unobjective (look discussion page for details). So unblock this IP, because it can be potentially used by a lot of people.

I was reading "Appealing" section of page, which shows when I try to edit, and I spotted this gem:

"If you do not wish to wait for your block to expire, you may contact Redvers (the blocking administrator) via email to resolve the problem that led to the block. To use this feature you must have a valid email address registered in your user preferences."

But you know what? I am not able to register and set "a valid email address": "Account creation from this IP address (193.219.28.144) has been temporarily restricted."

It looks like classic catch-22 situation to me... 193.219.28.144 22:30, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

If this is a proxy then I will indef block it please create an account Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 01:22, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

it's not an open proxy, just for the university.
Actually, it is not open proxy indeed, but it is definitely NOT only accesible for univ. and campus. It is also accesible for quite a lot of random people in Poland. I have IP from Netia ISP IP range, and I am able to use this proxy. 193.219.28.146 21:51, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
