Due to persistent vandalism (see edit log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. You continue to have full access to read the encyclopedia. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled.
If editing is required for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken.
Thank you.

[edit] Addition of http://spam.ahereford.org external link
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from all of Wikipedia. -- SiobhanHansa 18:32, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Is correcting, structuring and clarifying errors vandalism? I also want to add that the article I added is not spam, as you can verify yourself: http://www.fisica.uniud.it/~ercolessi/md/md.pdf I'd like to see my adjustments restored, while I spent some expensive hours of my time to it. If you can show me one error in my adjustments, be free to show me where. Thanks a lot.
[edit] This is a shared IP address
This is a shared IP address (NAT) with literally thousands (or even tens of thousands) of users behind it... --(one of the network admins) 10:31, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Verlet integration. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. delldot talk 14:14, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, man, I'm really sorry. I was reverting vandalism, and I saw that you removed a large section. I wasn't sure why, and we get a ton of that from IP editors who are vandalizing, so I kind of assumed it was vandalism. Sorry! Yeah, I'll restore it, or you can yourself. I have two recommendations to prevent this kind of error in the future: 1) consider creating an account, because we get a ton of IP vandalism, and it has other perks and is free and easy. 2) Use an edit summary so folks understand what you're doing. Sorry again for the error. If you do register an account, drop me another note and we can keep in touch! Peace, delldot talk 14:34, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

- No no, your edit was fine, I didn't think it was biased. I responded to you here, the message at the bottom of my talk page was for someone else (she had written an article about herself, I think). I was just asking whether I had missed anything in replacing your text, or whether there was more I needed to undo. You made a valuable contribution and I messed up by reverting it, sorry to cause you more trouble. Peace, delldot talk 04:19, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:52, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This block isn't appropiate in my opinion
I have my doubts if the moderators in charge are sufficiently aware of it but at least 50,000 - 100.000 people might use this IP-adress. This IP-adress is not only used by the Catholic University of Leuven (35,000 students and the oldest university in Europe), it's also used by many other educational organisations. 50,000 is a conservative bet. Isn't is inappropriate to victimize 50,000 - 100,000 people when only a handful of them is vandalizing? It strikes me as an easy tool for the moderators which serves more their comfort than anything else. Do you think that there is any group of 50,000 - 100,000 people in the western world of which nobody would vandalize? Research the IP-adresses of all the people from a city with this number of inhabitants and you'll find at least an equal amount of vandilisation from that city. You're not going to block that entire city though (if it would be technically possible ;)). There are also many people on this IP-adress who can contribute in a valuable way, given the fact that this university is one of the better univeristies in Europe (I could but I don't have the time for it). Odds are that these people won't contribute when they first have to create an account on some other adress before they can contribute. When I hear that I'm blocked because someone else did something wrong than I don't feel very welcome. Yeah, I can create my own account but I don't feel like it anymore. 193.190.253.149 (talk) 02:13, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree with what you are saying, but the KUL is not the oldest university in Europe :-) far from it, it is the oldest catholic university though. But yes, the IP adress should not be blocked, locking out 50.000+ users--Lamadude (talk) 20:09, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to Chahvarz has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Bob Fosse. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 21:21, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
