Why? It's a list, it is sorted chronologically. It is only natural to assume that a reader might want to check what else happened on the date being linked. Unlike a low-value date link in the body of the text of a regular article, date links here serve a purpose and are quite useful.—Ëzhiki (ërinacëus amurënsis) • (yo?); 14:27, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
