The 1938 Green Bay Packers season was their 38th season in the National Football League. The club posted a 8-3 record under coach Curly Lambeau, earning them a 1st place finish in the Western Conference. The Packers lost to the Giants 23-17 in the 1938 NFL Championship Game. This would mark the first of only three losses the Packers would have in their 15 NFL championship games.
