[edit] Are short courses commercial

I put the link to the AVS short courses in the sputtering article. Why are courses that aren't free any more commercial than books? AVS is non-profit while most book publishers are not. I have no relation to AVS short courses other than I've taken some of them and have found them valuable. I'm inclined to put the link back as useful to others unless you truly find it objectionable.
