Please stop addding erroneous information to Wikipedia, as you did to Rosemere. You should do a search for the words mere and mire. Mere is an old English word meaning lake and mire means marsh. If J.P. Withers had wanted to refer to marshes he would have called the town Rosemire. It is understandable that there is some confusion about this. My first language is English and I have great difficulty reading things like Racine's Andromaque. Anyway the seasonal wetlands within Rosemere are not marshes.
