Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I noticed you are known only as an IP address; that means you are not signed up. To sign up, you only need to click Create account and choose a username and password. You don't need to provide any personal information. If you sign up, you'll have a username that others can use to recognize you and leave you messages on the wiki. You'll be able to sign your name just by typing four tildes (~~~~) when you leave someone else a message. Plus, you (and others) will easily be able to see a list of all your contributions to Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, ask at the Village pump, or feel free to ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mushroom (Talk) 13:45, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Jodie Foster. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. --Krich (talk) 21:37, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

As they say in the movies, "oh be-have". Seriously, though, we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so don't make joke edits. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). Maybe you should check out Wikipedia:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Wall Ball, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Benwildeboer 15:04, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for Arbitration

I've removed your poorly-formed Request for Arbitration. I'm certainly not an Arbitrator but your request was very poorly formed and it had to either be cleaned up or removed. It didn't appear as if much dispute resolution has taken place regarding that article lately. I gently recommend you attempt some of the earlier means of dispute resolution before jumping straight to the ArbCom; it's highly unlikely they'll do anything until other methods and options have been exhausted or at least attempted.

If you feel this was in error or if you'd like some additional help, please let me know! --ElKevbo 18:11, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Facebook

I've reverted a recent edit you made to Facebook. The link you provided did not work, and you removed quite a lot of well sourced text.

This is a shared internet connection: this message may not apply to you. Consider creating an account to avoid being confused with other editors. --h2g2bob (talk) 02:33, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Massage, you will be blocked from editing. OhNoitsJamie Talk 20:35, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
