User talk:192.104.181.227
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Are you not even allowed to change your own personal page on this thing?
It's not like logs aren't kept of every page...what's the point of having them if they're never used?
- You certainly are allowed to have "your own peronal page" once you log in to get a username. But this is an "anonymous" IP page. It "is shared by the campus, so please don't assume all things posted are by the same person." There's no way of knowing if you're the same person who held previous discussions on this page, or a succesion of people. If you want to have a page to call your own, get a username (and it's actually more anonymous than an IP address). Cheers, -Willmcw 11:59, Apr 15, 2005 (UTC)
- PS: Please discuss your issues at the talk:Citizens Commission on Human Rights so we can "meet in the middle." -Willmcw 12:05, Apr 15, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Proof of 3RR warning
Please see talk page history for proof that 192.104.181.227/192.104.181.229 received warning about the 3RR.
[edit] Talk pages
Once again, this isn't your talk page - it is shared by everyone who uses this IP address. When you register and get a talk page of your own here is some advice:
- Can I blank my talk page whenever I want?
- There's no hard-and-fast rule that says you can't, however many people will suspect that you are trying to hide something or ignore other contributors if you do it too often. Most users do archive their talk pages periodically to a personal subpage -- either when the page gets too large, on a regular schedule, or when they take a wikivacation.Wikipedia:Talk etiquette FAQ
Speaking of Wikiquette, the expectation is for editors (even those without a username) to sign their talk page contributions. Cheers, -Willmcw 20:50, Apr 15, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR
I came here to inform you of the three-revert rule and warn you that violation could end in your being blocked from editing, but I see from the page history, that you are well aware of this rule, but continue to violate it as well as disregard consensus. You've already reverted five times in the last 24 hours [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], and other editors have apparently been patient and given you plenty of time to reconsider your behavior, but it's time to report this to WP:AN/3RR --MPerel ( talk | contrib) 05:50, Apr 20, 2005 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for 24 hours for violating the 3RR rule, if you continue similar behaviour you may be blocked for longer periods--nixie 07:05, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Stop bothering Antaeus Feldspar
Feel free to contact any Wikipedia editor to ask them questions about their work here. It's an important part of our collaborative process.
Please avoid interrogating our editors about their off-wiki activities when those activities don't have a direct connection to their work here—and particularly when you've been told repeatedly that such inquiries are unwelcome. Other editors may discuss their personal opinions and life stories with you at their discretion; please refrain from pestering them if they don't wish to chat.
Further questions not directly related to our work here – building an encyclopedia – may result in a suspension of your editing privileges. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 01:49, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blanking of this talk page
To the editor(s) who write(s) from this IP address— Please don't blank this talk page.
For one thing, several editors may share the same IP address, and blanking this page may mean that the intended recipients of messages do not receive them. For another, the administrators of this site may from time to time use this page to communicate regarding issues associated with management of this IP address.
If you would like to have your own username and talk page, feel free to sign up for a unique username. (Click on the 'log in' page up in the top right corner of the screen and follow the directions. It's quick and painless; I promise.) TenOfAllTrades(talk) 16:19, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Don't blank this talk page again, please. If necessary, I will suspend your ability to edit it. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 01:38, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Block
Your editing privileges have been suspended for 24 hours for continued harrassment of Antaeus Feldspar and blanking of this anon IP page following repeated warnings.
If you continue to blank this page or harrass other editors, successively longer blocks will be applied. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 02:40, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from History of the Jews in the United States. [edit] Your edit to "They'd Rather Be Right"
Hi, I saw that you just made an edit to the article They'd Rather Be Right (the article about the book). Since you deleted the content of the article, replacing it with info about the band "The Forever Machine", I reverted your edit. In this case, it would be best to create a new page for the band, then provide a link in the article "They'd Rather Be Right" to the article about the band. I can go ahead and create that article for you right now. I'm going to call it The Forever Machine (band), using the info you had just added to "They'd Rather Be Right". Let's leave the article about the book alone, and start a new one about the band you were wanting to write about, okay? Just letting you know about that. Thanks for contributing, JamieS93 21:17, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Just created the article under the name The Forever Machine (band), as I said before. I'll minorly expand it (adding basic info), as well as add a link to it in the They'd Rather Be Right article. If you ever have any questions about that article, please leave a message on my talk page. Thank you, JamieS93 21:44, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
