The 1906–07 Federal Amateur Hockey League (FAHL) season lasted from December 28 until March 6. Teams were to play a twelve game schedule, but this was disrupted by the resignation of the Montreal Montagnards over a dispute, and the resignation of the Cornwall team following the death of Owen 'Bud' McCourt, the top scorer in the league. Ottawa Victorias were awarded the championship.

Morrisburg joined the league for the season, but was not of the same calibre as the others and did not win a game.

[edit] Highlights

Cornwall defeated Ottawa Victorias on February 15 with Degray and McCourt after they had played for Montreal Shamrocks. The match was replayed on March 6, at Cornwall. Mr. McCourt was available to play that game, as he participated in an on-ice brawl and died from his on-ice injuries. Cornwall resigned from the league afterwards.

Montagnards played Cornwall on February 25, using two players from Montreal Shamrocks and won the game 7–3. Cornwall protested the match and the protest was upheld. Montagnards, however, refused to play the rematch and resigned from the league.
