The 1905 MLB Season was the third season held by the MLB and had the second modern World Series. The New York Giants defeated the Philadelphia Athletics to win the World Series.

The Athletics won the AL with a record of 92-56, and took on the 105-48 Giants in the Second World Series. The Giants took the series 4-1.
