"...the first time in World War II submersible tanks were used in combat." Does this mean that they had been used in combat in other wars previously? If not, could we not say "...the first time ever, submersible tanks were used in combat." Even more impressive! GrahamBould 08:23, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

I wonder the same thing, I have never heard of submersible tanks being used in combat before 22 June 1941. So I believe it was the first time ever, but I can't find a source to back it up.--Bryson 03:42, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
