[edit] Amazonian Rainforest
Why don't you write it somewhere in your article space (e.g., User:1892 Fitch Dude/sandbox) and when its done put it into the article proper.
The main problem as it stands is that language isn't appropriate. It's far too chatty - encyclopaedia articles aren't written in question and answer format. "The famous Giant Anteater..." just doesn't fit in a serious article. "Famous" in what way? "And last, but defiantly not less..." isn't appropriate language. You have listed a few vertebrates, but have not addressed fish or other groups animals. You haven't talked about the most diverse group of mammals, the bats. There's a definite bias towards big, charismatic animals. If you want to write about animals, you shouldn't be inserting a number of anecdotes. Instead of saying "Jaguars and Ocelots of just some of the cats that live there", you could talk about the number of felids found there, give some examples, and compare this to the other great areas of rainforest. If you are going to talk about the animals you need to talk about the different groups present, not just a few random "interesting" animals. Guettarda 18:10, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Paris "To Do" list
Now that I've read about it, I see that I missed the point of that 'to do' box and regret having removed it. Call me a bit paranoid about what goes on on that page, but it has been a great long while since it has seen any 'normal' editing habits. BTW, I moved my yesterday's completely irrelevent comments to the archives.
So the box is there and there is a discussion section for it at the bottom. Looking forward to improving things with you. THEPROMENADER 09:04, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
PS: BTW, there is no need to worry about anyone (certainly not me) reverting anything, so no need for the warnings in your edit comments. It is a good idea though to upload an edit when it is finished, not before... perhaps start a sandbox of your own? THEPROMENADER 11:24, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
Ya, I'm going to do that, sooner or later, lol. -- Je suis 17:53, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Paris sister cities
On Paris, you added the so-called "sister cities" and asked for it not to be deleted. But I'm afraid I may delete it one of these days, because this list is very dubious. I guess you found it on the French Wikipedia, but the person who put it there in the first place cannot provide a source and I cannot find any either. Do you have more information? Thbz 16:44, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Like I said before you need not forget WB:AGF, I have been looking to see if any of the cities list are not a sister city or twin city of Paris, thus far I haven't found one. -- Je suis t\c 18:01, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Abercrombie
What is your basis for claiming that Abercrombie and Fitch have "given up all rights" to Image:Sum5.jpg? Seems very unlikely. Please answer at Image talk:Sum5.jpg rather than here. - Jmabel | Talk 19:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Paris Peer Review - Launched !
After finishing and adding the Education section, I went ahead and forwarded the Paris article for peer review tonight. This is perhaps jumping the gun a bit, but if you've noticed the Paris article is now considered "class A" for CD inclusion - let's take it up a notch : ) There remains the language to brush up, but I'm sure that there will be more than a few "grammar guys" along to fix things up now that the article's up for review.
Thanks for all you've done till now - and will do. Cheers!

[edit] Taichung City
I am new on WikiProject Cities. I have added considerable content to the first city I am working on, which happens to be the city of my residence, Taichung City. Would you mind taking a few minutes to look it over and leave comments on how you think I can make it better to bring it up to WikiProject Cities standards in a section of the discussion page for the city’s article page that I have set up.
Thank you. Ludahai 03:52, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
