The minor planet 18918 Nishashah was discovered on July 31, 2000 by MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Near-Earth Asteroid Research program. It was named in scientific recognition of Nisha Shah, one of the winners of the 2003 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, from Lecanto, Florida, United States. [1]
