[edit] Merge

I propose moving the 1880, 1884, and 1889 articles here, and deleting them. Hurricanehink 20:17, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

I agree. -- RattleMan 22:54, 19 September 2005 (UTC)
Cool, and I moved them. How do you do a redirect? I'm still new here, so I don't know. Also, I moved Storms 2, 3, and 4 in 1880, and Storm 3 in the 1884 season. I think, considering lack of summarization and detail, that nothing from 1889 be used. I vote that all three should be deleted now that the important information is in the decadal article. You type in "#REDIRECT [[article-you-want-to-redirect-to]]". -- RattleMan 01:31, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
Thanks! Hurricanehink 01:52, 20 September 2005 (UTC)
I think there should be redirects for all seasons that are covered by multi-year articles. And yes I realize this will mean hundreds of redirects. Jdorje 22:35, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Split

I think this article is detailed enough to support splitting it. The '87 season has already been split off, and the '86 season should be too. — jdorje (talk) 00:16, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Sounds good. Hurricanehink 03:30, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Well, there are several choices. I think 86-89 need individual articles (though 88 and 89 need expansion). We could have 80-85 as a single article, or as one article per year. — jdorje (talk) 04:28, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
85 had a lot of content too. I split off 85-89 into their separate articles. — jdorje (talk) 06:15, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Good work. Hurricanehink 14:51, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
