This is a picture of the finest known circulated 1874 CC seated dime. This coin is by far the rarest Seated Dime in the series with an estimated 50 coins remaining. This was the 4th year of Seated Dime production at the famous Carson City mint. The productions during 1871-74 were very limited increase dramatically in 1875 before the final production in 1878 for which an estimated 450 coins remain of the 200,000 mintage.
