Just had a look at this article--interesting subject, but appears to have been an actor in legitimate theater, not a musician or musical theater personage. Is he, then, appropriate fodder for "1807 in music"? Leaving him here in case he engaged in musical activities omitted from his article, but flagging him for further consideration.
